We take pride in handling our cases professionally, competently, and discreetly, and with total loyalty to you.   Family Law/Paternity/Custody Hourly rates are currently $180 per hour. The initial retainer required depends upon the complexity of the case, issues, prior complications, and other relevant factors. Each case has its own unique attributes requiring professional analysis and advocacy. We welcome all family law issues whether they involve property or custody, visitation and support. We also handle restraining orders, protective orders, and stalking injunctions, parenting plans, modifications, and other matters.   Often Grandparent rights are at issue. We encourage extended family support where possible, and value the added wisdom, life experience, and abilities of grandparents especially where children are vulnerable. Civil   In addition to Family Law, the office handles contract, property, boundary and probate disputes, as well as guardianships, juvenile cases, and wrongful death. We begin with a thorough consultation and analysis and advise the client of options available. Some cases are properly resolved without litigation, but sometimes litigation is necessary for a just outcome. Criminal Defense We handle all criminal defense cases whether you are charged with a felony or a misdemeanor.   Criminal defense is an important part of our practice.  Clients receive our zealous professional advocacy and undivided loyalty, because we understand that being a defendant in a criminal case is a frightening, upsetting experience.  We do not “roll” cases.  This office is not government subsidized or part of the public defender network.  We give personal attention to each client and are committed to providing immediate response to your calls and questions.   Other Occasionally we accept cases of unusual interest. We successfully handled the Mormon Meteor III race car litigation which returned the 6 million dollar champion to its rightful owners. We’ve successfully handled several high profile cases of public interest, such as the infamous “Temple Lighting” case, among others.
